RESEARCHER

Dan Munro is a researcher whose expertise include innovation policy, skills and education, and applied ethics, including the ethics of innovation, and new and emerging technologies. As Senior Fellow in the Innovation Policy Lab in the Munk School of Global Affairs, he works on these and other issues with students, faculty, policy-makers, industry and global experts. Dan also provides research and writing services to a range of private, public and not-for-profit organizations working in science, innovation, technology, education and ethics.

WRITER / SPEAKER

Dan writes and speaks on public policy, ethics, technology, innovation and education for a variety of local and national media outlets, and for audiences in government, industry, education and other organizations.

PHILOSOPHER

Dan has taught politics, philosophy and ethics at a number of universities, including the University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, and Huron University College. He is an effective and respected teacher, and past recipient of the Award of Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching at Western University for his “innovative teaching methods.”
