As Researcher in Residence at Actua—Canada's largest STEM outreach organization—Dan conducts research with a view to helping Canada better understand the STEM skills challenges and opportunities we face, and the program, policies and strategies needed to address gaps. He designed and led Actua's "Coding the Future" survey—a first-of-its-kind examination of young Canadians' attitudes towards and interest in coding and digital literacy and their opportunities to learn.
